Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon partner with Girls on the Run
Denver, CO – The Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon announces a partnership with Colorado’s Girls on the Run for 2017. More than 1,000 girls will be participating in the Bellco Colfax 5K, which is the kickoff event to the Colfax Marathon Weekend. The Bellco Colfax 5K will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in City Park in Denver, with the main events on Sunday, May 21, 2017.
“Girls on the Run is thrilled to be partnering with the Bellco Colfax 5K. This event is a great way to engage our participants and their families in a Denver tradition. Through our participation, we hope our girls will inspire other kids to get out and run,” commented Lisa Johnson, Executive Director of Girls on the Run of the Rockies
Girls on the Run uses the power of running to change the way girls see themselves and their opportunities.
