We’re constantly pinkie-swearing with friends to run marathons. Training begins with a bang—up at dawn, no sweat—before we eventually regress to our natural state of semi-atrophy. The leap from zero to 26.2 miles just seems too great. The Colfax Marathon Relay in May, however, splits up the distance into five easily accomplishable segments.
