2025 Finisher Medals Revealed
Inspiration – we added a stand some years ago as we know as runners that often the medals end up on your closet door handle or in a drawer as they are tough to display. Many runners put these on their desk or shelf. We know that runners are all about the experience they have on Race Day, and this is a great way to keep the memory going. We are one of the only races in the country that does this.
With the stand in mind we wanted to make the medals more of an art piece (rather than a traditional medal) representing elements/memories from the course as we are known to have one of the most scenic courses in the country, passing some of Denver’s most iconic landmarks. We also added a charm/mini-medal years ago – that you can remove it and clip on a backpack or as a zipper pull. Giving runners another fun item to remember their accomplishment.
The medals feature highlights from the Colfax courses etched in 3D in antique silver! The capitol, skyline, mountains, two head sculpture, and street lamps represent downtown and the river/creek area.
