Southern Plains Lands Trust
Providing a refuge for runners is one of our main goals at the Southern Plains Land Trust – we are protecting over 60,000 acres of shortgrass prairie habitat for American pronghorn, deer, bison and other runners!
We’re participating in the 2024 Colfax Marathon because we want to channel our inner pronghorn and run for the cause, while introducing you to our prairie preserves in southeastern Colorado.
Prairie wildlife is in desperate need for more space to run and roam. Bison, pronghorn, prairie dogs, badgers, and all the wild ones will thank you!
